This is the official home page for GhostWriter by Ian Evans.
The latest version will be found here and you are free to link to this page.

GhostWriter is a textual substitution program to simplify the repetitive task of regenerating web pages or text files to reflect the latest changes in information that is stored in data files.

It has initially been designed as a companion program to Andy Keir's FreeWX Weather Station Monitoring Program and is distributed with configuration files to enable access to the almanac files generated by the program.

GhostWriter Features

A sample of the output from GhostWriter can be found at Ian Evans's Weather Station History page.  Also the Monthly and Annual extremes  on the Rasmussen Weather page have been generated by GhostWriter.

GhostWriter needs the relevant version of the Visual Basic V6 runtime files to be present on your computer. Most modern computers with a recent version of Windows will already have these. FreeWX also requires these runtime files and can install them for you.

The Latest Release of GhostWriter is
Version: 1.1.8
Dated: 3 February 2006
